As with any other industry, you should discuss with yourself what may happen to OnlyFans if the economy flops and inflation hits high records. This article will help you understand more about that discussion and help lead you in the right direction.
Today, we’ll guide you through linking your bank account to OnlyFans, whether you’re a subscriber or a creator. Connecting a bank account is essential when using OnlyFans. Without it, you won’t be able to register as a creator or make payments to subscribe to others' content.
You might wonder, “Why can’t I add my bank account?” Well, your residency can significantly impact this. OnlyFans restricts certain countries, and if you reside in one of them, you won’t be able to sign up as a creator or subscribe to others.
Please check this blog to see if your country (or place of residence) is allowed on OnlyFans.
As an OnlyFans user who wants to set up an account to subscribe to other content creators, the process is smooth and straightforward.
Enter in OnlyFans, then on the Home page, go to More > Your Cards (to subscribe).
Get to the following screen:
Fill out the rest of the following fields after confirming that you’ve successfully added your card to your OnlyFans account. Please click the ‘Add card’ button to add multiple cards.
Once a card is linked on OnlyFans, $0.10 will be taken from your balance as a test transaction to ensure everything works and there are enough funds in the account.
Firstly, before adding your banking information on OnlyFans, ensure you’ve confirmed your email and begun customizing your profile by adding a profile picture, writing a bio, and completing the verification process.
Once that is completed, you can begin the rest of the process by heading over to OnlyFans. From “More,” go to “Bank (to earn).” You’ll see a pop-up that is a security check asking for a verification code from the email that your account is associated with. After completing the code, you’ll see the banking information page.
Here are all the payout options that you’ll have:
Please note that all options are dependent on the country of residence.
Now some creators will get different options depending on their country and where they are located, but for the majority of users, you can click “International Bank Transfer (USD)”. This will bring you to the following screen:
You'll need to fill out all the fields, and we'll guide you through each.
Full name: This should already be filled in from your verification process and cannot be changed.
Account number/IBAN: Enter your personal IBAN number here. You can usually find this in your bank contract or through your bank's online portal or app, typically in the settings or documents section.
Routing Number or Bank Code: This field is optional. Each bank has a unique code that can vary in length depending on the country. If you need to find your bank code, you can visit this site, choose your country, and locate your bank code in your bank account number. These are your bank’s specific digits. US citizens can find their bank routing number here. These 9-digit numbers are used for domestic payments by US banks, based on the bank and location. If you’re unsure about your bank code or routing number, it's best to leave it blank.
Bank name: Enter the full name of your bank here.
SWIFT Code: Similar to your IBAN, you can find your SWIFT code in your user agreement or through your bank's online portal or app. You can also use this link to find your bank’s SWIFT code.
Legal type – Individual or Company: If you’re opening an account as an individual and don’t own a company, select "Individual." If you have a company and want to link your company’s bank details to your account, select "Company." Make sure that if you're registering as a company, all the other details like your IBAN and SWIFT code correspond to your company bank account, not your personal one.
Bank Address: Enter your bank’s address here.
Residential Address: Provide the address associated with your bank account.
Residential State/Province: Enter your state or province. This field is optional.
Residential Postal Code/ZIP: Enter your postal code or ZIP here.
Finally, select your **bank account type:** checking or savings.
And that's it! You should now have a complete and accurate form.
That's all you need to know about adding your bank details to your OnlyFans account! The OnlyFans community is incredibly diverse; mastering these basics is your first step toward success.
